About Greenleaf Neurodiversity Community Center
Greenleaf Neurodiversity Community Center (Greenleaf NCC) offers a new transition school option for students who are 18 years old or older and have autism or related neurodivergent conditions and a desire to continue their education in the public school system through project-based learning in classroom and community settings designed to help students move from special education to achieving independent living goals.
Why They’re Great
Learning for Life: Greenleaf NCC focuses on direct instruction in Social Communication, Vocational, and Independent Living Skills using Learn4Independence® curriculum designed by Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center in Phoenix for adults with autism and other neurodiversities.
Multiple Learning Modes: Greenleaf NCC offers opportunities for individual and collaborative project-based learning in a variety of areas.
Collaboration Brings Variety: Greenleaf NCC provides weekly sessions with guest instructors in the areas of mindfulness, yoga, nutrition, and more. One-on-one support ensures progress toward individual post-secondary (IEP) goals.
