Texas Partnerships Toolkit

Communication Tools to Promote High Quality Texas Partnerships

There are over 100 Texas Partnership campuses under Senate Bill 1882, and room for more. Your district can be next.

Our mission is to help you spread the word about Texas Partnerships and SB 1882 so you can make Texas Partnerships your own.

What’s a Texas Partnership?

Public, free, and open to all, Texas Partnerships leverage SB 1882 policy and funding to create autonomous in-district schools, allowing community schools to stay within their district while building programs that are:

Local: Custom-build solutions for your unique context.

Collaborative: Bring others in with a shared community vision.

Results Driven: Build your dream school. Get your dream results.

NEW Everybody Grows

With the Leadership Academy Network

How did a network of Fort Worth ISD schools nearly double the percentage of student grade level proficiency and improve performance even when similar groups across the state experienced a decline?

The Leadership Academy Network (LAN) is a premier SB 1882 Texas Partnership between Fort Worth ISD and Texas Wesleyan University. The program began in 2017 and became a Texas Partnership in 2019. Read about the LAN’s approach to curriculum, instructional time, and teacher engagement in this new case study detailing their transformational results.

“There are so many leaders, EDs, Board Members, community champions, that could use this opportunity. To those that are just starting out on their journey I say— don’t be scared. Take it! Know that with autonomy comes accountability. The work is not easy, but it’s worth it. If you are looking for an opportunity to be creative, learn, grow, and stretch, to invest in your school community, this path is for you.”
